SCI FI Weekly's Fall Preview

SCI FI Weekly scribe Kathie Huddleston has posted their 2007 Fall Preview. Although I have already gone over the new season from a Sci-Fi perspective, Ms. Huddleston goes over the season in much more detail that I ever could.

The article lists all of the cancelled shows ("Day Break", we hardly knew ye!) and then provides a couple of paragraphs on each new show that will be debuting this season - including shows that I typically wouldn't write about, like "Cavemen". She also covers the adult animated programs as well as all of the kid related offerings, so if you have little ones, this is the article for you.

On the down side, the article obviously pulls information from press releases. As such, it may not be completely accurate. For example, the article references Glen Morgan as a producer of "Bionic Woman", when he has recently left the show. And, in the review of "Moonlight", I found the following quote (regarding the prospects of the show):

"...two other pretty good shows (Threshold, Close To Home) have not been able to pull the numbers CBS wants and have been canceled."

Now, I agree with the sentiment - but, "Threshold" was not a good show. Worst dialogue ever!

Those complaints aside, the article is a good reference, especially for the animated and kids fare. I am looking forward to Part II, where they will provide the lowdown on all of the returning shows, midseason replacements, movies and miniseries for the new season.
