"Eureka" Renewed!

With all of the new premieres, I almost failed to mention some good news: The Sci Fi Channel has renewed "Eureka"!

According to reports, "Eureka" will have a 13 episode run, with a summer 2008 premiere date. "Eureka" has continued to improve in its sophomore season, with Colin Ferguson really looking comfortable as the town Sheriff and a very good subplot with my favorite character "Henry" (played by Joe Morton). This show is great summer fare - not too serious, quirky and light. Yet, it maintains your interest and has a strong long term plot. If you have never seen the show, set up the TiVo and catch the inevitable repeats of season one and two - it will be worth the effort!

As a side note, the Eureka $mart House Energy Efficiency Challenge winner will be announced tonight during the second season finale. I will be winning the $25,000 home energy makeover, with my creative and witty entry! (In the unlikely event that I *do* actually win, I'll let everyone know)

I hate to admit it...but a more deserving winner of the Energy challenge was found.
