"Moonlight" Update

The campaign to save "Moonlight" is still going strong! Although the rumors of The CW picking up the show (a la ABC with "Scrubs") turned out to be false, there is still hope out there.

Moonlight fans have been sending letters, holding rallies, donating blood and filling up message boards across the country. In addition to the main CBS message board (found here), the following sites are active:

Moonlightline, in particular, has been gracious enough to include me on their emails, which has helped me greatly in keeping up with the supporting events.

If you will be in the vicinity of New York City this weekend, there will be a large picnic/rally held in Central Park to support the show. Specifically, the targets are DirectTV and The Sci-Fi Channel. As the note said, the "Moonlight in The Park Rally/Picnic" will demonstrate "...why Moonlight fans have earned the buzz as the most passionate, loyal, enthusiastic, and giving fan-base seen in a generation." Amen to that!

TNT is another possible alternative. So, there are still several options out there to pick up this fine show. Vampire Solidarity!

(The Park rally will be held between 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM at Central Park in the Hecksher Playground/Picnic Area CP-01.)

Thank you for the article! The Dallas rally will have a blood drive so please come out to Thanksgiving Square on Pacific Avenue in downtown if you are in the area, Saturday from 11AM to 4PM.

Thank you for this nice article on Moonlight. The show had a very positive role model for women because Beth was a very strong woman in the show and had a great job, as well as romance in her life. I looked forward to Friday night every week to see Moonlight and have an hour of pure entertainment.

Thanks for the great post about Moonlight. Also, please note that there are several big rallies elswhere as well. We are having an Orlando Rally, Saturday, June 14th, 2-4p.m. downtown Orlando, Church and Orange Street. There is a free WMMO concert that day as well. We will be there "enlightening" people about our Moonlight campaign. Please join us if you are in Orlando Saturday.

Hi, Im a Moonlight Fan from the United Kingdom (England!) And there is a massive growing facebook page (5136 people) rallying against the cancellation of Moonlight, Everyone is trying to contact TNT to see if they will take the show on!
Great Article, lets hope that CBS (better known as 'Cancels best shows' i.e Moonlight)will see the error of thier decision!
