2008 Fall TV Schedule

I am a bit of a TV addict (surprising, eh?). One of the ways my addiction manifests itself is that every year, I go through the exercise of creating a spreadsheet for the entire network television schedule.

That's right - every fall show, in a schedule, on a spreadsheet. I use the spreadsheet to determine which TiVo to record my many favorites...and which one to record my wife's various reality shows and "Ugly Betty" type offerings.

This year, I decided to publish the spreadsheet through the magic of Google documents. The link can be found here at Fred's 2008 TV Schedule.

I hope it's useful for you. If you have any ideas on how I can make it better, just let me know!

Where's Stargate Atlantis? And, I would've liked an indication about Samantha Who? starting at 9:30....

I also wasn't able to save it in a useable format. Any suggestions on that? Thanks!!!

Good catch on "Samantha Who". It immediately follows "Dancing With The Stars", but you are right about the 9:30PM start. Consider the sheet updated!

I am working on getting a better fall SCIFI Channel schedule - those guys hide that like it's gold or something! I'll update the sheet for now...but when I get all of the dates that I need from that channel, it might change again.

As for saving it, there are only a few options. You can highlight the whole sheet and then copy it into Excel...but it will not retain the formatting. I think I'll just send you a copy :-)

Awesome. I'm a TV addict as well and I was waiting for EW Fall TV schedule to come out so I can write on my calendar the days my shows premiere for this season. Now I don't have to wait and I can use yours. Can't wait to see what the Sci Fi schedule will be like - BattleStar!!!

Thanks for all the kind words about the spreadsheet (both here and in person)!

Lori - When I get all of the midseason show start dates (like BSG, Lost and the new Dollhouse), I'll go ahead and update the sheet.

Thank you SO much for posting a schedule! For some reason, my (Canadian) TV programming magazine didn't come out with a preview this year! Maybe I missed it...
