Good news! ABC has decided to air the final three episodes of "Pushing Daisies" this May.
I've previously posted that I gave up on "Pushing Daisies" well before its official cancellation. However, I also know that I was in the minority with that opinion. Most genre fans seem to hold the show in high regard, as the very well-done show summary from the article demonstrates:
"Revolving around the life of Ned the Piemaker (Lee Pace) and his knack for resurrecting the dead, the show received substantial critical acclaim for its smooshing of colorful visuals, wacky concepts and absurd amounts of pie in what can only be described as a work of creative genius."
I think it's great that ABC finally has decided to do the right thing and air the episodes. In addition to "Pushing Daisies", the network also announced that they will show the final episodes of "Eli Stone" and "Dirty Sexy Money" too. Maybe it's a change of heart all around?
Here is the consolidated schedule for the episodes (all will be aired on Saturdays at 10:00 PM EST):
