JAG Gets Discharged
CBS has decided to dismiss "JAG" after 227 missions. The drama lasted for a surprising 10 years, making it the longest running military drama in history. The show was originally cancelled after one season on NBC, only to be picked up by CBS and become the cornerstone of its Tuesday night lineup.
The cancellation news was not all that shocking. Viewers have gradually dropped off over the past few years. And most recently, star David James Elliot announced he would be leaving at the end of this season to pursue opportunities with ABC and Touchstone Television.
The last episode of "JAG" will air on April 29 on CBS. -- Rachel Cericola
