Hilary Swank Plays Charades for AMC
She can play a she-male and a female boxer, but can she mime a scene from "The Thing with Two Heads?"
The Hollywood Reporter says that Hilary Swank and hubby Chad Lowe are developing "Celebrity Charades" for the AMC cable network. I guess two Oscars and a hot "Vanity Fair" spread just weren't enough -- bring her the head of Merv Griffin!
Two teams of 10 celebrities will compete to see whose side has the least dignity. It's all for charity, so it isn't just a stupid idea, but it also steals from "Celebrity Poker Showdown." Add "Dinner for Five" to that list, since each installment begins with your favorite celebs having a nice meal and chatting away before entering the ring. If they want to make it really interesting, toss in a medieval mace and a hacksaw, and we've got Thunderdome -- and ratings gold.
Celebrities scheduled to appear include Philip Seymour Hoffman, Hank Azaria, Rosie Perez, and a slew of others looking to crap out their careers in 30 minutes or less.
