Will & Grace Returning for 8th Season

The Hollywood Reporter says "Will & Grace" will return for and eighth and likely final season.

But don't shed any tears for the cast -- the Reporter says the four stars (Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally) will each earn $13-$15 million for the season. This breaks down to around $600,000 per episode.

It's anticipated that "Will & Grace" will end its run in Spring 2006, but don't carve that tombstone just yet. NBC has a history of dishing out the big bucks to keep a successful series going. Case in point: "Friends" was thought to be winding down during its ninth season, but a lucrative contract lured the cast back for a 10th year. -- Mac Slocum
