Ray Romano and Kevin James Hit the Green
Does everybody still love Raymond? HBO seems to think so. Romano's show hasn't even said its last goodbye yet and ABC News is already reporting that he's got a deal in the works with the cable giant -- and he's taking buddy Kevin James along for the ride.
The show will follow the two real-life friends (and golfers) as they attempt to make the cut at the annual Pro-Am golf tournament in Pebble Beach, Calif.
This is one to set your TiVo for, assuming it doesn't crash and burn like the Murray brothers' golf spoof "The Sweet Spot." What "Caddyshack" did for golf -- well, that one pretty much wiped the slate clean.
But we smell a winner. In the words of Rodney Dangerfield, "place your bets." The behind-the-scenes special debuts June 18 on HBO. -- Rachel Cericola
