Brian Austin Green Finds Sitcom Work

Brian Austin Green was pretty fly for a white guy as David on "Beverly Hills 90210." Now ABC News is reporting that he's landed a plum gig on the new Freddie Prinze Jr. sitcom. Was Screech unavailable?

Believe it or not, Green has been working pretty steadily since producers decided that the 30-to-40-year-old "90210" cast just wasn't fooling anyone anymore. This will be Green's first regular TV gig since his short stint on "Resurrection Blvd."

The sitcom is currently untitled, but it puts "Scooby Doo" hunk Prinze in a house filled with the ladies who raised him. No word on when the ABC show is set to premiere. -- Rachel Cericola
