Megan Mullally Goes for Daytime Talk Show

Megan Mullally Megan Mullally has spent the past seven years perfecting her character on "Will & Grace." She's gotten it to the point where her Karen rings in your head like a Metallica tribute band. At least that's what NBC is banking on. The Hollywood Reporter says the TV diva has landed a deal that will move her from primetime to daytime.

The Emmy-winning actress will be trying her hand at the daytime talk circuit. NBC is hoping Mullally's personality and comedic skills will carry her. After all, she's got to be funnier than Jane Pauley, right? Hopefully it's the right kind of funny.

The ink isn't dry on the deal just yet, but the show is expected to hit in 2006. -- Rachel Cericola
