SNL Lets the F-Word Fly
The Gwinnett Daily Online is reporting that the "Saturday Night Live" censors missed a four-lettered word on Saturday night.
On the May 7 show, metal band System of a Down performed their new tune "B.Y.O.B.," which featured repeated chanting of the F-word. The cameraman sure saw it, as he chose to stay glued to guitarist Daron Malakian every single time he screeched it. But whoops! -- one got through. Maybe the censors were like the rest of us, and had long gouged out their eardrums.
It's not the F-word that shocks me. It's how these guys could possibly have another hit song. "Where the f--- are you?" the band says. I'm out looking for the new Lindsay Lohan album -- and that's where I'll stay if this is what metal has come to.
"SNL" usually doesn't use a tape delay. My guess is they will now. Ashlee Simpson, you may now sigh in relief. -- Rachel Cericola
