Arrested Development Gets Third Season
I hereby forgive Fox for all of its past indiscretions: "The Littlest Groom," "The Swan," those ridiculous robot graphics that litter the network's NFL coverage ... all of it has been stricken from the record because of one important decision. Fox is bringing "Arrested Development" back for a third season.
TV Guide has the scoop, but additional details haven't been released since Fox won't officially announce its fall lineup until Thursday. So we'll have to wait a few days to see if "Arrested" will return for a full run (22-23 episodes) or an abbreviated season. Either way, the television landscape will be infinitely more enjoyable now that the Bluth family is scheduled to return.
Incidentally, if you haven't seen "Arrested Development" (judging by its ratings, you haven't), it's imperative that you do the following:
- Visit GetArrested.com and take the "Arrested Development" loyalty pledge (every pledge helps!).
- Buy or rent Season 1 and witness firsthand the genius of this show.
Thank you. -- Mac Slocum
