"Lost" series finale to be extended
One thing we've come to expect from any Season Finale of LOST is a very dense, action filled, plot twisting, mind bending, perspective shifting ride that lasts two hours.
For the ultimate Series Finale, we can now expect even more - including more LOST!!
You heard that right. In their mission to provide as many answers to so many crucial questions, and wrap up so many loose ends the LOST production team has shot so much critical material for the hugely anticipated series finale that ABC has agreed to extend the series finale by an extra half-hour. This announcement comes one day after Lost executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof announced that they had finished editing the final episode.
When the LOST finale airs Sunday, May 23, it will run from 9 to 11:30 p.m. It is still unclear whether the extra 30 minutes will air instead of the local news, or if the local news will air afterwards, pushing the "Jimmy Kimmel Live: Aloha to Lost" post-finale special to midnight EST. A two-hour retrospective is also set to air before the finale.
Of course when it's all over, we can all look forward to Mac's final "Lost" recap.
