i hope will smith dosen't blow it. i think that ali is one of the most amazing people, i love to watch is old fights and stuff. i hope the movie makers give him all the credit he deserves...W~ ------------------

I think Will Smith is a very versatile actor! I think he will be able to take on this roll, if he puts him self into Ali's shoes.....but aint he a bit too tall and lanky??? Will Will have to beef up or something? but that aside, it will be interesting how he does portray the incredible Ali, cause they are big shoes to fill!!Kattekitt... IP: Logged |

i like will smith too, actually i loved (don't yell at me!) ID4, he cracked me in the role. i just hope that they don't try to tarnish the image of Ali in anyway. he was such a cool person to watch when he was fighting. such an attidute but you loved him! i just don't want any movie to ruin that image of him. W~ ------------------

Since Ali himself is involved in the production, I seriously doubt the film will cast him in anything but a positive light. There might be some in-depth background, but i imagine "Ali" will be an Ali-centric film.As for Smith's physical condition, reports I've read say Smith has been training for months, so while he'll certainly still be tall, that lankiness has been replaced by bulk. Yes I read that too, I can't imagine a bulky Will Smith, but I will soon see... It would need to take months to bulk him up, cause I am sure his metabolism is ultra quick!! and dont worry Wolfie, Ali him self will make sure it is true to form...He wouldn't run him self down!!IP: Logged |
