for a comic book movie, x-men was pretty damned good. yes, there were a lot of characters squeezed into the movie with little to no backstory or even dialogue, but i was glad they decided to concentrate mostly on a few characters, the ever-popular wolverine and his little hussy rogue. magneto's origin was a brilliant touch. it created an enemy, who's goals we may not necessarily agree with, but who we can at least have sympathy for. magneto's ambiguousness was far more interesting than professor x's goody-two-shoes routine. x-men is a positive indicator for comic movies in the future. we're fairly smart moviegoers nowadays. we don't want just bad guys and good guys; we want drama, character depth, and a good story. singer is setting a good trend for comic-based films. with x-men 2, let's hope he surpasses what he already accomplished in the first x-men.IP: Logged |

I love how they foreshadowed Gambit and Beast to be in X-men 3...While they were watching television a Doctor named Hank McCoy (Beast) was talking, and when Mystique was accessing the computer and looking at all the mutants, the name Remy Lemiuex came up (Gambit) IP: Logged |

The Phionex. My spelling maybe off but when i was a kid I watched Xmen all the time saturdays was xmen cartoons all day long, now if memory serves Jene Gray died to the misfortune of wolverine and cyclops only to be revived by the alien presence of the phionex wich enhanced all her abilitys as-well as some added features. So my question is at the end of the movie what was the glowing shape under the water? Jene Gray dead... I Think Not.Email me a line if you think differently. IP: Logged |

I agree about Jean Gray not being dead because prof. x said everything will be ok at the end of the film and there was this extract about evolution, but they can't bring in aliens, it's meant to be reality. Wasn't Cyclops crying like a girl tho? IP: Logged |

Dear X-Men Fans: I would like to unite all the loyal X-Men fans in the whole world to support and strengthen the petition regarding its running time. Let's make it three hours so that it will be worth waiting for. We can do it, we can make it bigger or even the biggest film mankind has never witnessed. It would be very realistic and cinematic noone could ever imagine. I know that they will pay attention as our numbers grow since we are the fans. We are the ones who will watch the movie and I know that we wanted a longer movie, right? If ever this is the last movie, isn't it nice for us to have it that way? Once again, please support the petition. Remember what Calisto said: THERE IS STRENGTH IN UNITY. Here's the URL: http://www.petitiononline.com/jr5m4d82/petition.html IP: Logged |

there are a few things that i would like to see in the next x-men, one of them being the introduction of Apocalyps (prob bad spelling) and those giant robots *mmm robots*, also it would be good if rouge got all of the powers she had in the comic and cartoon, and last but not least, of course jene gray is alive, she is the pheonix, u cant kill that, cant wait for the next one thanxIP: Logged |
