I'll never forgive the Academy for choosing "Shakespeare in Love" over "Saving Private Ryan." A horrific mistake.

Marissa Tomei and Mira Sorvino are both questionable choices, especially since neither has done anything of note since winning.

yeah that saving private ryan thing was a JOKE. i still to this day won't see SIL just cause i'm bitter.

Gladiator winning Best Picture and Soderbergh winning Best Director. What a joke.

And I don't care if Julia Roberts is "America's Sweetheart;" she still can't act. She's good at being a one-trick pony, but does that deserve an award?

Well as a fellow Aussie, I am chuffed that Russell won!! Thank Christ for Australia!!!
at least Tom Hanks didn't win again!!! Sheeesh!!!
And I know I will be canned, but, but, but, I am glad Julia won, I mean, did you check out the competition??? There was none!!! I happen to think she did a great job in Erin, (prolly the best thing she has done.....)So ner!!! That is my piece!! and how excitied was she???? much better speech than the wishy washy one Gwynnie did ages ago!!!!

I also though Crouching tiger did really well!!! so I must go and see it now!!!!heh!!(makes note... Take reading glasses with!!!)

Jim Carrey not only should of been nominated for The Truman Show, but he should of won too!!!! That is probably the worst mistake by the Academy of all time!!!!!!!!!
